Work Project

This Linux Switch application is really important to me. In the span of just a few years—and after a lot of mistakes made by Microsoft, which holds the largest market share of operating systems—we've seen incredible gains in the number of users switching to Linux, including governments. Kudos to Germany and its brave stance on open source software.
My Linux Switch application has all the tools that most people are going to use if they decide to switch to a Linux system. It details the popular distros and desktop environments, window managers, and tiling managers. It even has an interactive terminal—a scary place for a lot of new users, but also where all the magic happens.
The application itself is pretty nice, like the color schemes across the pages. I also built in a few unique pages, like the ricing page, which scrapes GitHub for popular rice across the many Linux distributions that exist, so people can have a nice custom setup if they want, made by trusted developers out there in the open source world.
