An AI-powered tool that generates detailed and unique backstories for characters from the TV show Rick and Morty.

I'm excited to announce the launch of my Citadel project which utilizes the OpenAI API and Rick and Morty API to generate unique stories about characters from the show. When a user selects a character and clicks on their card, a request is sent to the OpenAI API with a prompt containing information about the selected character. The API then responds with a completed version of the prompt, which is then displayed in a modal for the user to read.

While in this demonstration it will be the same, each story is unique and displayed with the typing animation library typing-ind. The information provided by the Rick and Morty API includes character name, image, location and status(alive or dead).

I have developed a Discord bot, called Citadel, which allows users to interact with a program that generates unique summaries for Rick and Morty characters. The bot uses the OpenAI API to create these summaries and then sends them to the user in a Discord embed along with information about the character's last known location and status.

The goal is to eventually create a unique world using the generated stories from users around the world, showcasing creativity and imagination.

One of the key areas where OpenAI has made significant strides is in the realm of large language models. These models, such as GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) and GPT-3, are trained on vast amounts of text data and are able to generate text that is almost indistinguishable from human writing. These models have been used for a wide range of applications, including language translation, summarization, and even generating computer code.
